Presence

Connect can update your iPECS presence for you, either from your calendar events or from your Microsoft Teams status, so colleagues can see when you're free without you having to remember to change it.

Your current status shows in the top-right corner of Connect. You can always click it to set your presence by hand.

Auto Update Presence

This controls whether calendar events change your presence, and what they change it to.

While an event is running, Connect switches you to either busy or Do Not Disturb, depending on which you picked:

• Busy shows you as busy to other users but still lets calls through.
• DND shows you as Do Not Disturb and blocks inbound calls.

If you set your presence to busy or DND by hand, automatic updates stop until you set yourself back to online.

Include meeting name (when not private) in presence status for others to see?

Turn this on and other iPECS users will see the name of your current event and the time it finishes, rather than just "busy". Events marked private in your calendar are never shared.

Presence from your Microsoft Teams status

Turn this on and your iPECS presence follows your Teams status, so a Teams call or meeting shows up in Connect too.
