Using WhatsApp

Once WhatsApp has been configured, messages sent to your WhatsApp business phone number will start to appear in Connect.

You will only be able to reply to contacts who have messaged you within the last 24 hours. This is a time limit imposed by WhatsApp.

Sending and receiving images and files

You can send and receive any file types supported by WhatsApp, including images, videos and PDFs.

• To send a file, click the papercip icon below the reply field and select a file to uplad.
• When you receive a file, images will display in the chat thread and you can click to enlarge them. Other files will appear as attachments and will either open or download when you click them.

WhatsApp only stores images and files for 30 days. You won't be able to access them after that time. If you think you'll need to refer to any files at a later date, we would recommend downloading them.
