Devices

Connect picks up your system defaults, so most people never need to change anything here. Each setting is a dropdown listing the devices Connect can see.

Audio Output

Where call audio plays, such as your headset.

Ring Output

Where incoming call alerts play. Set this to a different device from Audio Output if you want to hear the phone ring through your speakers while you're wearing a headset. See Audio output device configuration for a walkthrough.

Audio Input

The microphone Connect uses for calls.

Video Input

The camera Connect uses. Change this if you've plugged in an external webcam and want to use it instead of a built-in one.

If a device you've just plugged in isn't listed, refresh Connect and check again.
